Cath Lab Technician — Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular

Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician with a focus in peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures to join our physician-owned cardiovascular practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled technologist looking for a state-of-the-art work environment with a consistent, predictable schedule and no night shifts or call requirements.

 

Schedule

  • 4-day work week
  • No call required
  • No night shifts

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures
  • Operate and monitor hemodynamic recording equipment during procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the procedure lab, including sterile field setup and equipment readiness
  • Scrub and circulate during peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, hemodynamic data, and ECG tracings throughout procedures
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems
  • Participate in procedural timeouts and adhere to all sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data in the electronic medical record
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care
  • Maintain inventory of procedure lab supplies and assist with equipment troubleshooting as needed
  • Willingness to assist with all aspects of patient care in a small, collaborative practice setting

 

Qualifications

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred, or equivalent experience in a peripheral vascular or endovascular lab setting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or peripheral vascular/hybrid OR, endovascular, or OBL setting — required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, interventional equipment, and imaging systems
  • Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and sterile technique
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and hemodynamic monitoring systems
