Overview
Black Hills Heart and Vascular Institute, a premier private cardiology and vascular medicine group in Rapid City, SD, is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our rapidly growing independent practice.
Join an established team of two interventional cardiologists practicing the full spectrum of elective coronary, endovascular, and peripheral vascular intervention — entirely in an outpatient setting. You will work across our main campus, private ambulatory procedure center, and regional outreach network with absolutely no hospital call and no inpatient responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Perform elective coronary angiography and elective PCI.
- Perform peripheral arterial interventions and endovascular procedures.
- Manage ambulatory procedure center-based outpatient cases and general outpatient cardiology clinics.
- Provide structural heart care (if trained).
- Support clinical care and patient pipelines at regional outreach clinics and the outpatient cardiology clinic
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified (BC) in Interventional Cardiology.
- Required experience in elective coronary interventions.
- Experience with peripheral and endovascular procedures is a plus.
- South Dakota medical licensure (or eligible to obtain).
